A large group has come together drawn from union members, community groups, progressive economists, progressive academics, progressive journalists and involving a people who represent a large mass of people in civil society who are wish to put their point of view across.
The aim is to Challenge the dominance of Indpendent Newsapers and the lack of alternative print media in Ireland. Our aim is to give a voice to voiceless people beinng hammered by cuts, mortgage interest, poor public services, unemployment, unfair taxation, lack of disability and health services an for the 440,000 people who want to work.
We will work to influence the trade union movement and other civil society and benefactors to provide financial and organisational support to set up this newspaper in the near future.
